The Automatic Melt Flow Index Tester is a fully automated solution for measuring Melt Flow Rate (MFR) and Melt Volume Flow Rate (MVR) of thermoplastics. Unlike semi-automatic models, it eliminates manual intervention with automatic weight loading, integrated manual/automatic cutting, and computer connectivity—perfect for high-throughput testing. It operates under strict temperature (up to 500℃ optional) and load control, complying with global standards (GB-T3682-2018, ISO1133:1997, ASTM D1238). Its 304 stainless steel or alloy heating cylinder resists oxidation at high temperatures, ensuring long-term accuracy even with corrosive plastics like full fluoroplastics.

Full Automation Reduces Human Error

The tester automatically loads 8 grades of weights (0.325kg–21.6kg) and times material extrusion, with a displacement sensor resolution of 0.001mm. This eliminates errors from manual weight handling or timing, boosting test repeatability. The built-in micro printer and RS232/USB ports (optional) let you export data to computers for analysis or reporting.


Extended Temperature Range for Versatility

Its standard temperature range is RT-450℃, with an optional upgrade to 450–500℃—ideal for ultra-high-melt-point plastics like polyarylsulfone. The dual platinum resistance sensors and 2-stage temperature control ensure precise heat distribution (±0.2℃ fluctuation), critical for consistent MVR/MFR results.


User-Friendly Design for Efficiency

It retains last test conditions on startup, so operators don’t re-enter parameters—saving time for frequent testing. A 4-minute countdown after feeding (per national standards) ensures materials fully melt before testing, improving data accuracy. The 7-inch touchscreen simplifies navigation, even for new users.
